Shala was inspired by the ancient Sumerian goddess of grain and the emotion of compassion. Shala is the flame that lights the community with the gratitude of today and the hope for tomorrow. They are an icon for Bread Head’s Community-Health-Eating-Wellness (CHEW) program.
